New 1-Year MS Program
This new Master’s in Hydrogeology has been designed with practicing hydrogeologists to deliver a world-class, rigorous education through a one-year, in-person, and project-based program. Enrollment is limited to 25 students. Applications are being accepted for Fall 2025.
The Curriculum
Program begins in the Fall with a week-long road trip through the Southwest to observe water in the landscape, visit groundwater professionals at work, and build community.
Five horizontally-integrated courses are taken in both Spring & Fall:
- Physical Hydrogeology
- Chemical Hydrogeology
- Communication
- Analysis Methods
- Measurement Methods
An independent research project completes the program during the summer.
